At Fourteen-Forty we believe that to properly serve our clients we must continue to upgrade our professional skills and knowledge. We have joined these carefully selected professional organizations and are continually learning about current trends and new techniques in the investigative and security industries.

Council of Private Investigators Ontario: The CPIO is a non-profit organization, which serves to ensure that the private investigation sector in Ontario is comprised of investigative experts who are professional, trustworthy and effective. Additionally, CPIO is uniquely positioned to represent investigators and set the standard by strategically creating training, networking and legislative platforms all designed to provide the public with the most professional investigative services possible in the marketplace.

All members of the CPIO must be licensed by the Province of Ontario, insured and adhere to the Code of Ethics and Privacy Policy of the Council. Moreover, they must always conduct themselves in the best interests of the public.

International Association of Auto Theft Investigators: IAATI is dedicated to developing and encouraging the highest professional standards of conduct among auto theft investigators, and strives to eliminate all factors interfering with the administration of the auto theft suppression effort.

The American Society for Industrial Security (ASIS) is the largest international organization of professional security practitioners, with more than 25,000 members world-wide. ASIS has a number of educational resources available to members including the monthly magazine, Security Management.

The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) is the premier international organization of its kind, representing professional fraud examiners in business, academe and law enforcement.

The Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) The Supply Chain Management Association (SCMA) is Canada’s largest association for supply chain management professionals. Representing 7,500 members as well as the wider profession working in roles that cover sourcing, procurement, logistics, inventory, and contract management. SCMA sets the standards for excellence and ethics, and is the principal source of professional development and accreditation in supply chain management in Canada.
